The Science of the Mind: Psychology Articles E-mail

We have yet to fully unveil the mysteries of the human mind. I often spend a few hours just wondering if we truly know how it works. Scientists have claimed that we only use a small portion of our brain.

I think that it would be great if there was a way to stimulate the rest. We would probably become more intelligent and advanced. The world would change completely if we could fully harness the capabilities of the human mind.

On the other hand, being able to use our minds to its full potential could be a bad thing. There is also a possibility that total chaos would ensue if we used our entire brain. We cannot be completely sure if it would do more harm than good. Anyway, we still study the human mind even if we are unable to use the majority of our brain.

This study is more popularly known as psychology. There’s a good chance that you've had a class in it at one time or another. I had two college courses in psychology. I can conclude that we're all confused after reading a few books and countless psychology articles.

There are people who do not believe in the concept of psychology. For examples, the religion of Scientology dismisses the practice as false. Ironically, Scientology sounds like a creed that would embrace a 'mind science" like psychology. Some members of Scientology do not agree with psychology or prescription drugs.

To be honest, I feel that people who do not agree with psychology have a point. Some of the psychology articles I’ve read seem to be bogus. It’s as if some psychologists are doing what any fool could do. Now, I’m not saying that contemporary psychology cannot help people. It depends on the affliction at-hand, the person receiving the treatment and the psychologist.

You should read psychology articles, if you are intrigued with this topic. Reading psychology articles can expand your mind and may offer solutions to topics of interest. Now, I'm not just referring to psychology articles because you can also benefit from reading about other topics.

You should also read about famous psychologists. Famous psychologists are often addressed in psychology articles and books. Their point of view can give you new knowledge and insight about life and other issues.
